We went for a bike ride today, 140 mi. Not that much traffic. Guess many snowbirds flew back home!
FINALLY.........all but the glass around shower is DONE. It is soooo different! and light, and wonderful! Real orchids, Sarajean!! I bought 4 the other day, 2/$10. I asked the Chinese man (owns a dollar store) where he got them. Said he has a friend in Orlando that grows them. He had hundreds in the store! I wonder how long I can keep these alive! Cabinets from Linens N Things
I've had this cat for YEARS.......just painted it black! Also, stenciled 4 Chinese characters meaning: Peace, Love, Happiness, Energy in gold on cabinet doors.

This is a pizza that Red Lobster makes! It is FRESH....very thin crust, cheese, fresh chopped tomatoes and fresh basil. It is sooooo good!! We had a birthday party for my mother there Saturday. Several family members there. My mother....95 yrs. Her nickname all her life is Bunny.

The sink is in!! I love it. The shower works, but no glass sides yet! A rainshower on top, and regular nozzle out the upper side. I need to get busy and paint my mirror!! Meanwhile, Rock tore out the bedroom closet wall. What a mess we are in right now! but it will be worth it to have a BIGGER walk in closet. The best part is Rock cleans up every day after he is done! Our shower has been changed a bit also. Rock loves rainshowers.....so that is in our BR also. I've been playing with the thought of "Closets by Design"....or like that.
Our tangeloe tree bloomed for the first time yesterday. It smells so beautiful......I love orange blossom honey.....it's my favorite....light and sweet. We still have MANY ruby red grapefruit left on the tree .

Rock laying floor tile. Whole floor was uneven and dipped in the middle! He had to build it up. I love the pattern. This is the insert for "shower stuff"......and cool ice blue tile.

Room is painted, all tile down, trim boards in. We went "shopping" today.....piece of furniture I wanted was too tall!!!!! Ended up at Linens & Things......bought 3 cabinets......2 tall and lean, white.....with glass doors. Can't wait to see them in room. Plumbing to get done tomorrow, toilet and sink in......and shower heads. (2)

Floor is finished...just needs grouting. I went shopping today, beautiful towels....ice blue and white! Also looked at "furniture" . Linens & Things had a couple of pieces, and Wood You did too. Will have to decide what we want to do when room is completely done! (I have my own idea!) :*)

Two busy days!!! This is where new shower goes. I'm learning a lot watching. Water pipes....wow....all over the place. Shower will be 2 sides glass. Will make room "look" bigger. Rainshower on top, another "regular".
Putting the board up. Has cement in it.
This is where sink/cabinet goes. Rock put first coat of patch on wall. Wall will be painted white. White tile around shower.
Rained here tonight....and temp. was 80 with 80% humidity all day. It was beautiful. Have little tomatoes now.....and picked first radishes. Yummy.

Today was "DEMOLITION DAY" in the bathroom! I did my share helping Rock and we finished emptying it all out except for the floor tile!! The old green tub was picked up from the front yard tonight by "someone". Guess they can get $ for it salvage. We go pick out tile tomorrow for part of wall and floor.

This one is for you, Louie! We have these everywhere.....anoles....or "lizards". They are so cute....they eat lots of bugs and help keep the garden bug free.
My grandson, Jake, wanted a photo of me on bike. Had Rock take this one last week after we went for a long ride. We got our shirts in Sturgis, SD last summer. This is light post done. It was so bright the first night that we had to change the 3 bulbs in it to the frosted ones and less watts.

this is a macro shot of my radishes!! YUMMY I haven't picked any yet, waiting till they get bigger. My mother and sister came over today for lunch and afternoon. I fixed Waho fish that # 3 son, Keith caught in the Gulf. It was meaty and delicious!
