This is our "resident" bird! It rained a while ago, and this is what happened! He is sooo funny and visits us daily looking for food, of course. WHAT A FACE, only a mother could love!

We gave Ken a surprise early birthday party Sat. MaryJo's birthday is the day before his, actually May 24 and May 25. Son, Jake, in pic. Had a great time and lots of food and drink. His friend from "childhood" ,Jim B came, what a surprise! He is the only one that calls him "Kenny". ALL desserts; German Chocolate Cake, Carrot Cake and Key Lime Pie made from scratch by my little hands! DELICIOUS

This is a visitor we had that was soooo tame, it bit my hand when I was trying to break up a hotdog !! He would have walked into the house if the door was open. This is a 1st for a stork. They look pretty grusome but if you watch them long enough, their eyes are beautiful and feathers like snow. Always a constant "drip" coming from end of bill. I got some pretty good closeups of him as you can see. He isn't too good at picking up food though.

We went to a financial seminar in St Pete last week for 3 days with Suze and Jonathan. Stayed at their home cuz it was closer to The Vinoy Renissance Hotel where the conference was held. Learned a lot, and had a great time. GREAT FOOD too!

FINALLY..........THE BATHROOM IS DONE!!! The glass was installed today! Can't use it till tomorrow night though, as it has to "set". The glass has a light blue "hue" to it, really blending in with the colors. There are two separate shower heads with two separate faucets. Could use both at a time if one wishes.

We went for a bike ride today, 140 mi. Not that much traffic. Guess many snowbirds flew back home!
FINALLY.........all but the glass around shower is DONE. It is soooo different! and light, and wonderful! Real orchids, Sarajean!! I bought 4 the other day, 2/$10. I asked the Chinese man (owns a dollar store) where he got them. Said he has a friend in Orlando that grows them. He had hundreds in the store! I wonder how long I can keep these alive! I've had this cat for YEARS.......just painted it black! Also, stenciled 4 Chinese characters meaning: Peace, Love, Happiness, Energy in gold on cabinet doors.

This is a pizza that Red Lobster makes! It is FRESH....very thin crust, cheese, fresh chopped tomatoes and fresh basil. It is sooooo good!! We had a birthday party for my mother there Saturday. Several family members there. My mother....95 yrs. Her nickname all her life is Bunny.
