This is a young turtle high on the hill in the woods and what he was doing there, I don't know! He was so cute! This one is for you, Louie! This beautiful iris is in a friends garden and I only hope that mine do as well! The soft scent is beautiful!
WOOPS.....I forgot to turn this one over! I caught it just going over after Rock did his "chainsaw" on it. Later, he will cut it with a saw he has that makes boards, and then let them dry, then make something from them. He LOVES working with wood, and has made some shelves so far in the bedroom and above the washer/dryer area.

On one of our walks this tree is bursting with pinecones! They are so delicate, and I wish that I liked to make wreaths, etc with them, but that isn't my "thing"! The blackberries will be ripe by the end of the month! We found a new place to pick, where Ken and Jake did down by the creek. They will be hard to pick but will be worth it as they will be BIG. Glad I have extra freezer space now. We bought a new side by side fridge and a new stove this week. I checked the net about U-Pick blueberries and found several places near here to go. They should be ready end of June to end of July. Color me berries!
Another new walking route for us and here are loads of wild roses! This is first time I have seen them and would LOVE to bring some home.

This is where we spent every morning on the ship. In fact, neither of us gained any weight on the 7 day cruise! We may look drunk, but we aren't!
In the Nassau area near dock. Fun picture. Took one of Rock also. We both love to cruise!

What a time on the cruise! Free drinks this night at the Captains Party. This is the Carnival Guy...(or girl!) This is the casino onboard. There are camels all over the place! The last time we were on the GLORY, had pic taken on same camel! Quite a hike to climb on him too!
This is usual 4pm day on our balcony!

We made a short stop at an OLD gas station on rural road out in the boonies. Took a few pics for "the was it used to be!" Remember Sinclair gas........(this laptop doesn't have a question mark!) Isn't it cute..........It's called THE EGG HOUSE now, but really isn't anything. All the old signs are nailed on it.
This is the best one! Remember paying 25 cents a gallon for gas--------YEAH RIGHT We saw one diesel sign for $4.99 gal. Get ready for $5 gas, as it IS coming!

A lot of water has flowed under the bridge in the past couple of weeks!! We surprised Ken and MJ on their cruise. We had a great time relaxing, exercising, eating, and snorkeling. Weather was perfect. After our return on Sat, we left for GA on Wed. Not many cars on the road, fewer (like we counted about 5) motorhomes! Gas and diesel are higher in GA than FL. This is an iris at Tom and Mary's home in Blairsville. We went bike riding today and stopped by.
Another flower in Mary's garden. The macro on the camera does such a wonderful job. We rode with friends from FL on roads I haven't been on yet! This is lake at Hiawassee Dam in North Carolina. Remember, we are within 1/2 hr. of Tennessee and NC so it isn't that far to ride. Sure beats riding in FL.

Can't wait to get to GA to ride the mountains again! We missed Spring, but summer and fall await! Maybe we'll ride up the Blueridge Parkway again. What I remember most about the last ride there was the amount of deer that filled the pastures and roadway at dusk. It is actually dangerous riding at that time as you never know when a deer will bolt across the road.
